This essay looks into how properties of concrete are influenced if tailing sand takes the place of natural sand. Two strengths are designed. For the first strength of C20, the mixing ratio of cement∶sand∶stone∶water is 1∶2.3∶3.5∶0.54. For the second strength of C50, the ratio is 1∶2.1∶3.5∶0.42. The strength change of concrete specimens of different ages is measured, and the relationship between the slump degree and the fineness modulus is tested.
