1,You can walk across the river over Trinity Bridge .
这里指通过桥过河；如果说。。。walk across Trinity Bridge over the river ，就指从河上的桥的一边的人行道走到另一边的人行道。因此，意思是有区别的。
2，For the whole world ，the panda has become a symbol of China as well as for our government’s work to protect animals in danger .就全世界而言，大熊猫已经成为了中国的象征，也成为了我国政府保护濒危动物的成果。
后面的for sb/sth to do sth 是复合不定式结构，our government’s work 是 to protectanimals in danger 的逻辑主语。整个句子可以分解为：。。。the panda has become become a symbol of China .the panda has become (for )our government's work to protect animals in danger ,too .
